Bhutan Promises To Be A Highlight Of 2007 Himalaya Classic Rally

The 2007 Himalaya Classic Rally promises to be one of the most interesting drives possible with the inclusion of Bhutan, a country which has never hosted a rally before.

As pioneers we are very priviledged that the authorities have welcomed our event and promise to make it a very memorable experience.

But, It's not all about Bhutan; we start by being flagged off by His Highness Arvid Singh Mewar, the Maharana of Udaipur, who is a great classic car enthusiast.

Rajasthan promises to live up to its colourful reputation with stops at Jodhpur (yes, original home of those riding trousers), and Gajner Palace near Bikaner, where we are arranging for a camel ride into the desert for supper in a tribal tent.

The beautiful Himalayas beckon after Rajasthan and we will follow them from Amritsar in the west all the way through Nepal and into Bhutan.

A truly memorable event from start to finish, participants will be taking away many fond memories of this beautiful land.
