SiteSet functionality

SiteSet websites can offer incredibly rich and powerful features and functions that you normally expect from systems costing ten times more. The list below summarises the wide range of options that your SiteSet site could feature. All SiteSet sites can have any of the following functionality available to them, depending on the original set up and for an additional monthly fee where indicated:

News - enables stories to be added with pictures and downloads such as PDF files or Word documents

Features - an area for longer length content, also with pictures and downloads. Multiple sub-pages can be added

Gallery - an area specially designed to show thumbnails of pictures in logical categories linked to full-size images. Postcards of images in the Gallery section can also be emailed.

People - for featuring company staff including their photographs

Jobs - specially structured area setting out job opportunities, including pre-set fields for job description, status, start date, remuneration and similar

Secure access area - any area of a site can be designated as 'restricted' - and be made available only with a user name and password. SiteSet provides all the functionality to create and administer this, including user control module and automated password creation and distribution

Calendar - structured section for listing events by date, which automatically come off your live site once the date has passed

Message board - a standard message board which you can control with variable access levels

FAQ - sets out questions grouped in a list, linked to answers, with easy functionality to put questions in any order

Links - a page with pre-set fields enabling links to other websites

Mail - full email contact functionality via forms to prevent address harvesting by spam engines

Newsletter - an opt-in email newsletter module which handles subscribe, unsubsribe, bounces and features a test function ahead of any mail out. Available as basic text format or enhanced HTML template format (additional monthly fee of £5 or £10 plus a set-up fee of £100 for the HTML template)

Offline ecommerce - a multi-department shop module for people with existing offline payment systems, hosted on the SiteSet secure server (additional monthly fee of £20)

Online ecommerce - a shop module for Internet shopping, with shopping cart functionality. We help you set up a WorldPay account and start running your secure online shop (requires WorldPay subscription, price on application, and an additional monthly fee of £40)

Product catalogue - a section enabling you to list products and their prices and easily add images (additional monthly fee of £10)

Downloads - give your site visitors the opportunity to download documents, forms, guides, in the form of pdf files, with a captioning feature

Quiz - a fully functioning quiz module that can be custom-built or use our existing quiz content

Reminders - site visitors can register on this section so that they receive an email reminder if a page changes

Extra sections - up to 10 extra sections can be made available on any site, which can be named and filled as required

Multi-lingual capability - SiteSet has supported websites in more than 20 languages, including Hebrew and Eastern European character sets
